"Crypta" transports its visitors into a creepy world filled with dark corridors. Every corner is designed to create shocking moments and send chills down the guests' spines. Here, you encounter a wide range of eerie figures, from ghostly apparitions to undead creatures
The "Crypta" is a special attraction at Europa-Park, accessible to guests during the day and definitely not for the faint-hearted. Unlike the "Horror Nights - Traumatica," which only take place at night, the "Crypta" frightens its visitors in broad daylight with eerie creatures and a haunting atmosphere. I had the pleasure of creating the terrifying make-ups for the performers of this dark underworld.
Each character in the "Crypta" required a unique and detailed makeup design to enhance the chilling ambiance.
Challenges and Collaboration
Working on the "Crypta" presented unique challenges. The makeup had to be not only detailed and convincing but also long-lasting, as the performers were in action throughout the entire day.
Teamwork and preparation were crucial to meeting these demands. We focused on executing the makeup efficiently while maintaining creativity. Each performer received a custom transformation that perfectly complemented their role in the "Crypta."
